The Magic Club of Great Britain was founded by Eugene Matthias to introduce adults and children to the wonderful world of Magic, Mystery & Illusion.

Eugene is a professional entertainer and motivational speaker, he has been performing his motivational shows in the corporate sector since 1990.

In 1999 the Magic Club of Great Britain was formed when Eugene became a magc dealer, in addition he was asked to produce an educational magic show for Schools. He now has a series of 8 (see below) educational shows including a Motivational Masterclass with Derek Redmond 400m Olympic Gold medalist and World Champion.

Eugene formed the Magic Theatre Company to run his educational programme and now performs over 300 shows a year. Shows available

Top names from the world of magic have helped in the growth and success by offering their time, working with the development and lecturing to members include:

David Penn, member of The Magic Circle and winner of the Inner Magic Circles close up magician of the year award and one of Britain's top magicians works as a Professional Magic consultant and course director for our School of Magic.

John Star member of The Magic Circle and The Magic Castle in Hollywood has joined and helped develop courses for our schools of magic, in addition he has lectured at club nights.

Matthew Garrett member of the Inner Magic Circle and winner of the Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year 2010 has worked with the club and lectured for members.

Richard Dimmock member of The Magic Circle helped with Schools of Magic, shows, lectures and club nights.

Peter Blanchard the magic journalist and writer of Blanchard's World of Magic.

George Kovari one of Hungary’s leading magicians. George was born in Budapest but now resident in London has worked with many of our members.
