Let the Magic be Part of You

Ok, lets get one thing clear first, i am by no stretch of the imagination a professional magician, and I don't pretend to be

I do ,however make sure that whenever i go out to a party i have always got my sponge balls, a pack of cards and the professor's nightmare in my pocket, to make the evening more fun!!!

One such occasion was at my girlfriends Christmas works party, which was held in a private function room in the back of a pub, with only about 30-40 people involved.

The music was naff, and it didn't take long before the people were asking me to do a "trick", so i went into the impossible knot, professor's nightmare etc, and ended up doing a sponge ball routine to a group of about 12-15 people.

By this time the alcohol consumption was greater than the bladder capacity, well you do get bought a lot of drinks (and yes that is why i do it!!), so off i went to the little boys room.

While disposing of the unwanted booze, Mick, one of my friends from the group who had just seen the sponge ball fiasco walked in, and went straight into how he thought i was bloody brilliant, and yes he was drunk as well, and stared chatting away.

Then another man- from the pub , and not the private function , walked in, and Mick turned round to him and said in a volume only the very drunk can reach

" YOU SHOULD SEE WHAT THIS BLOKE CAN DO WITH HIS BALLS, ITS BLOODY BRILLIANT"

Without waiting to find out what was meant by this, as the bloke hadn't seen a thing of what had just happened, he turned round and legged it out of the loos.!!!!!!!

It just goes to show, some people just aint interested in magic.

And yes, i did end up doing a sponge ball routine in the bogs....

That's why i love magic- wherever you are you can guarantee that someone from the place will remember you, and if your lucky you get bought a hell of a lot of drink.

You don't need to be "out there , working the circuit " to do magic, just have fun and let the magic be part of you, its a laugh a minute

All the best
